About Enrique Matos
Enrique has lived in Lawrence since 1968. A husband and father of five sons, Enrique currently works at the State House on Beacon Hill in Boston, and for the Lawrence School District. He was also a member of the Exchange Club in Lawrence and a founding member and First Treasurer of the Club Cultural Latino Americano.
Enrique struggled to get to Lawrence by escaping Communism in Cuba. He built his life and raised his children to respect America, its laws and its freedoms. Enrique knows what all parents face as they guide their children toward graduations and success. “Let’s make Lawrence independent! Let’s stop sending our business and our jobs across the border. Let’s keep Lawrence a safe and healthy place to live and grow! Let’s make our schools #1 and our students the best they can be!”
